For Kids by ParentsWhen our first daughter was born, we found there wasn't any really good Polartec® clothing for the early years, so we created a unique collection of clothes designed for and thoroughly tested by Saede and now by Casie, too. Our products are meant to be worn longer by one child, and then passed on to many others! DesignOur kid's clothes are designed to get the maximum wear. Because kids tend to grow up fast, consider ordering the next size up. The overalls have adjustable snaps, the jackets and pants can be rolled up, and the vest is designed to fit over sweaters in the winter when your child is smaller, and as he grows into the spring, the vest will keep on fitting all year round! When your child finally grows out of the bunting, we have overalls and a jacket that will keep on fitting... usually for about 3 winters. And with the Knütes quality, you can pass everything on to your younger children or friends for years of wear.

QualityAt Knütes we know how important it is to keep your child warm and dry, whatever the weather. That's why we use only the best materials in our kids clothing. For our outer and mid-layers, we use Polartec® 200, Polartec® 300 Recycled fleece (made from almost 100% recycled plastic bottles) with extra DWR water-resistant protection and Windbloc®. This ensures that we can continue to offer the highest quality clothing while still remaining true to our environmentally friendly philosophy. EcologyAnother reason we decided to start our own line of clothing was because we wanted to feel good about the clothes we put on our family. When possible, we produce using the recycled version of the Polartec® fabrics, and our production is in small sewing facilities in Williamsport, PA, and Ebersbach, Germany. We know who makes every item we sell, and we know they are working in safe and socially and ecologically viable facilities. All products are made in the USA and/or in Germany, so our products do not travel around the world first before reaching their consumers.
